Tamim Iqbal Joins Nottinghampshire

Tamim Iqbal, the Bangladesh dashing opener joined Nottinghampshire Country team for this year. He was replaced by David Hussey. Under his stay with Nottinghampshire this year, he will get 7 matches to play and most of them are T-20 which naturally suits Tamim.

Tamim Iqbal is the second Bangladesh Cricketer who is playing Country Cricket in England. Sakib Al Hasan, the Bangladesh Captain is playing for Worcestershire since last year. The amazing part is Tamim will be playing two T-20 matches against Sakib's Worcestershire. But he is committed to give his best for Notts.

In an interview, he told it was a dream for him to play in Country and he's very excited to play and deliver the best for his team. He also mentioned if he performs well, the door will be open for other Bangladeshi crickets to play country.

His inclusion in Nottinghampshire was influenced by Tamim's performance in last year, when Bangladesh toured England. He made two extraordinary test hundreds in Lords and Old Trafford.

He will play the first match on 1st of July against Derbyshire.
