The Bangladesh Bank:
Bangladesh Bank (BB) regulates and supervises the activities of all banks. It has been working as the central bank of Bangladesh since its independence. Its prime jobs include issuing of currency. Bangladesh Bank has a governing body comprising of nine members with the governor as its chief. The Bangladesh Bank is now carrying out a reform program to ensure quality serves by the banks. The Bangladesh Bank has a great significance over the economic condition of Bangladesh.
